Jingzhou TV Station was founded in 1985 and is one of the first city TV stations in China. At present, there are three channels: news, ridge and splendid. Each day, the program broadcasts a total of 70 hours, with both wired and wireless transmission. The program signals effectively cover 28 counties and cities in Jingzhou, Yichang, Jingmen, Xiantao, Tianmen, Qianjiang, Xianning, Yueyang and Changde provinces. The audience size is 25 million.

At present, there are 15 self-run columns and more than 400 minutes of self-produced programs per day in the whole station; the production efficiency is in the leading level among the national television stations at the same level; Jingzhou TV Station adheres to Jingchu cultural temperament and is compatible with the concept of media, and constantly explores and strives to build in planning, layout, packaging, technology, communication, management and other aspects. The media brand of the Jianghan Plain has become the trustworthiness and influence in the area of the Jianghan Plain, which ranks first among the provincial TV stations of the same level and is known as the "first line in the first line of Hubei Radio and Television Team".
