Ningde Television was established on 27 December 1990. On February 25, 1991, the first issue of "East Fujian News" was broadcast. Ningde TV has two program channels: One is news comprehensive channel, the other is public channel. It covers nine counties (cities and districts) in the city and the adjacent areas of Wenzhou, Fujian and Fuzhou in the south of Zhejiang Province. The audience is nearly 10 million.
