On September 15, 2016, Shandong Radio and Television International Channel (Taishan TV) launched a new version. Two new self-run columns "Here is Shandong" and "Come from afar with friends" will appear simultaneously with the new arrangement. This is an important step for Shandong Radio and TV Station to "connect China with foreign countries and communicate with the world". Among them, the two self-made promotional films of the new column of external communication and the "Confucius hologram" edition are particularly noticeable. The revised International Channel clearly takes "Confucius'Hometown, Shandong Province, China" as its channel positioning language. Meanwhile, it uses "Shandong International TAISHAN TV" as its Chinese and English appellation, and organically integrates relevant elements into the new benchmark. The revised Shandong Radio and Television International Channel (Taishan TV Station) integrates the high-quality program resources of the whole province and the whole station, which are suitable for external dissemination. It broadcasts in four or six hours in succession throughout the day to ensure that most parts of the world can see the most wonderful programs in the evening. Within the six-hour section, life service program tape, self-run external communication program tape, health special program tape, seasonal variety show tape, dream and inspiration program tape and humanities record program tape are designed, which are connected with each other.

At present, Shandong Radio and Television International Channel (Taishan TV) covers most countries and regions in the world, such as Asia, Europe, America and Oceania, by means of satellite TV, cable TV, Internet TV and wireless digital TV through the Great Wall Platform of China Satellite TV Program. This new edition will further enhance the dissemination and competitiveness of Shandong Radio and TV International Channel (Taishan TV Station).
