Shizuishan TV Station was expanded on the basis of the original Shizuishan TV broadcasting station (built in 1973). It was officially launched on December 25, 1990, with a total transmission power of 32.3 kilowatts, effectively covering three counties of Shizuishan City (Pingluo County, Huilong County and Taulo County), three districts (Dawukou District, Shizuishan District and Carboniferous District), some county areas of Yinchuan and neighboring areas of Inner Mongolia
