Wuwei TV was built on October 1, 1990, officially broadcast, Wuwei regional TV station immediately renamed Wuwei TV station, the original Wuwei City TV station renamed Liangzhou District TV station. In 2008, according to the spirit of the national radio and television system reform and the relevant decisions of the Municipal Party Committee, Wuwei TV Station and Liangzhou District TV Station merged to form a new Wuwei TV Station (WWTV)
