MediaCorp Channel 8 📺️

MediaCorp Channel 8 is Singapore's first Chinese-language television channel. This program includes Chinese TV series, variety shows, news and current affairs programs.

Special programs include NKF charitable performance, talent overflow rookies, Red Star Awards and so on. They can enjoy Channel 8's original name "Eighth Channel", which was broadcast in Chinese and Tamil on November 23, 1963, and turned to color radio in 1976. In the early stage of broadcasting, Chinese programs were mainly documentaries, local operas, cross talk and news.

It was not until 1980, when Singapore Radio and Television changed into Singapore Broadcasting Bureau (Singapore Broadcasting), that the eighth channel became diversified; in 1984, the eighth channel became an all-Chinese television channel.
