Guiyang Television Station was established in 1985. In May 2001, according to the relevant spirit of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and the merger of Guiyang Cable Television Station, five channels of TV programs have been launched: one channel is news comprehensive channel, two channel is economic life channel, three channel is legal channel, four and five channels are positioned as urban channel and tourism channel.
