Baishan Television Public Channel, Baishan Cable Television Station, was established in 1993. It was tested on January 1, 1994 and officially approved by the State Radio, Film and Television Ministry in February 1998. It also runs two sets of comprehensive TV programs including news, social education, literature and art, information and service.

At present, the channel mainly has three self-run programs. One is a large-scale daily news program "People's Livelihood Through Train", which is based on the city residents as the main audience group. It upholds the purpose of the program and becomes a new platform for Baishan's external propaganda.
