Liaoyang radio and TV was established on May 1, 1985. It was merged with Liaoyang CATV on April 1, 2002. It adopted Liaoyang TV station call sign and Taiwan standard to set up four broadcasting channels. The four broadcast channels are: News integrated channel, public channel, style video channel and Liaoyang educational television station. In 2007, the style video channel was cancelled, and the call sign of Liaoyang educational television station became the educational technology channel of Lia
