Yantai Television Station was established on July 1, 1984. It is the National Radio and television station of Yantai City. It is located at No. 11 South Road, West Battery Station, Yantai City. It covers an area of 23084 square meters and has 280 employees. Among them, 65% are professionals and technicians above the intermediate level. It has two transmission systems, wireless and cable, and advanced television acquisition and cataloguing equipment and six channels. Large-scale television broadcasting vehicle covers all counties and cities in Yantai and surrounding cities, covering about 87 million people.

At present, there are four channels, news, comprehensive, economic, life, film and television, and public. They broadcast more than 60 hours a day, which is one of the main TV network sources in Jiaodong Peninsula.
