The aim of the TV station of China Communication University is to serve the teaching, the students, the media and the society. It is not only for students to see, but also to let students do their own practice. So that students in school can feel and experience the professional television station work environment, process, and professional norms, for the future into the media industry to accumulate preliminary experience.

The television station has an office, a general editor's office, a news department, a program department, a research and development department, a technology department, and a powerful news gathering and editing department, program production, product research and development, technology development and support and management team. At present, there are nearly 900 members of the student press corps, covering graduate and undergraduate students of various specialties on campus. There are 16 practical training courses with 15 self-run programs, which are broadcast from 4: 30 p.m. to 10: 30 p.m. every day for 6 hours.
