UTV-2 (Uyghur News Channel) Uyghur Comprehensive Channel is a comprehensive channel with 60 editors and 20 catches of various types.

In 1992, with the approval of the municipal Party committee and the Municipal People's government, the TV station added the Uyghur 33 channel TV program on the basis of the original Chinese 27 channel.

While actively preparing the Uyghur 33 channel, the TV station has overcome all kinds of difficulties and raised more than 500 yuan in its own capital. It has built a new 137 meter high and multi-functional TV transmission tower in Northwest China on the old tower site. It has purchased two 10 kilowatt transmitters, and the Uighur 33 channel broadcast 4 hours a day. As a result, TV programs cover a radius of 130 kilometers, covering a population of 2.2 million. The whole station has advanced television recording equipment and a number of young TV professional and technical personnel.
